Kia ora! I’m Kahu, a florist and flower grower based in the heart of Te Kuiti. Through my work at Costar Florals, I bring together the art of floral design and the beauty of homegrown, sustainable blooms to create arrangements that celebrate the seasons and tell meaningful stories.

My journey is rooted in a love for the natural world and my Māori heritage. I hold closely the values of Te taiao (environmental sustainability), Kaitiakitanga (guardianship), and Manaakitanga (hospitality and care), which guide every aspect of my work. From nurturing the soil to crafting bouquets, my goal is to honor Papatūānuku (Mother Earth) while sharing her beauty with others.
