Guess What? Your Blooms Weren’t Made to Bloom'n Last
When you buy a bouquet, it’s easy to get swept up in the beauty of those vibrant petals, the way the stems twist together in perfect harmony, and the scent that fills the air. But here’s a little truth bomb: your blooms weren’t made to last forever.
I’ve hit my dirty 30s, and the older I get, I totally get what they say—it goes by so quick. That seems to be so true. With two little ones in tow, I can tell you firsthand—the beauty just doesn’t last forever. And I think this realisation has only deepened my love of flowers. Curating and designing pieces that I know will fade in the next two weeks has become a passion. It’s the transient beauty of flowers that speaks to me—it’s about enjoying them while they last, knowing they won’t be here forever.
At Costar Florals, we embrace this natural cycle. Our flowers are grown with care, harvested at their peak, and arranged to be enjoyed in the moment. While we wish they could stick around longer, the impermanence of flowers is what makes them special. It’s their transience that allows us to appreciate their fleeting beauty.
But here’s the good news: just because your flowers don’t last forever doesn’t mean the memories have to fade with them. Whether it’s a bouquet gifted for a birthday, an anniversary, or just because, flowers have a way of leaving a lasting impression. Their presence in your home, even for just a few days, can brighten a space and lift your spirits.
So, while we can’t promise that your blooms will last forever, we can promise that every stem is carefully chosen, each petal picked at the height of its beauty, and every arrangement crafted to bring joy—no matter how short-lived.
Remember, it’s not about how long they last, but how much joy they bring while they’re here, so enjoy em!
