Welcome to Costar Florals

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.


1. General Information

Costar Florals ("we," "us," "our") operates as a boutique flower farm and florist located in Te Kuiti, New Zealand. We provide sustainably grown flowers, floral subscriptions, and related services through our website and other platforms.


2. Eligibility

  • By using our website and services, you confirm that:
  • You are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

3. Orders and Payment

  • Order Placement: Orders can be placed through our website. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of payment.
  • Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed on our website.
  • Pricing: Prices are listed in NZD and exclude GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund unless they have already been processed.

4. Subscriptions

  • Subscription Terms: By signing up for a floral subscription, you agree to recurring charges as per the subscription plan.
  • Changes or Cancellation: Subscription changes or cancellations must be made at least three days before the next billing cycle.
  • Delivery: Subscriptions do not cover rural delivery areas. Ensure your address meets delivery requirements before subscribing.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery Times: We deliver on Mondays-Saturday, please refer to our delivery page for ore information. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
  • Delivery Area: We currently deliver within Te Kuiti and select nearby areas. Please confirm your address is within our delivery zone.
  • Failed Deliveries: If delivery is unsuccessful due to incorrect information or an inaccessible location, we may charge an additional fee for redelivery.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Refunds: Due to the perishable nature of flowers, refunds are offered only for damaged or unsatisfactory products. Contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photos of the issue.
  • Returns: We do not accept returns for floral products. Non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days of purchase in unused condition.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, and branding, is owned by Costar Florals or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.


8. Limitation of Liability

Costar Florals is not liable for:

  • Delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., weather, transportation issues).
  • Allergic reactions or sensitivities to our products.
  • Losses, damages, or liabilities arising from misuse of our services.

9. Privacy Policy

When you place an order we will ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, or e-mail address. The personal information you submit when placing your order is treated as confidential. We use this information to process your transaction, and we share the information with Visa, Mastercard etc. in order to process your order.


10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
